JVK TRAINING AND TESTING FOUNDATION was born out of dream from a Mariner, the Chairman and Managing Director, Chief Engineer JOHNSON VINOTH KUMAR with a deep sense of generosity and compassion to the under-privileged students and economic community. His vision towards dissemination of quality training among all classes of society at a fair cost, so that the eligible talented candidates are not deprived of the justified opportunity.

JVK TRAINING AND TESTING FOUNDATION has established a modern laboratory with world class equipment to offer the best training to the trainees.Good hand-to-eye coordination, the ability to work accurately, good concentration levels, the ability to work without direct supervision, the ability to understand technical plans and drawings, good maths skills to work out measurements, the ability to solve problems, an understanding of safe working practices, etc.. are the important traits for a person considering this career.

The institute has been approved by Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC)

The campus

The Institute is located in Neelambur just Half an hour from the heart of the Coimbatore city, with a built up area of 6000 sq.ft comprising of excellent infrastructure, Class rooms, Workshops, A.C living rooms with WiFi access etc. Along with its highly qualified and dedicated faculties the Institute provides an excellent atmosphere for learning and grooming for technical professionals.

Library

A spacious library with the latest marine welding related books, technical books, and magazines is maintained.

Residential Facility/Hostel

An excellent residential facility is equipped with dormitories designed with good ventilation, beds and bedspreads along with lockers to safeguard your valuables and goods. A separate toilet block is available for your daily needs.

Workshop

The Institute established a unique welding lab equipped with Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Welding, Mig & Tig welding with the facilities like manifold gas piping system and fume extraction system for safe working environment at 20 independent work stations which spreads over 5300 sqft.

Dining Facility

The dining hall is located near the residential facility. A separate kitchen is equipped to prepare fresh and hygienic food. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options of South and North Indian style are available. Special needs can be taken care of.
